Kaylee always knew she wanted to be a lawyer. She joined VBK in 2013 and has been a partner since 2020. Working very closely with Marvin Glazier, Kaylee developed a passion for litigation. Kaylee practices primarily in the area of criminal law and family law
After Kaylee graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2011, she began taking criminal court-appointed cases. Around this time, she also started volunteering with Pine Tree Legal Assistance. This Maine-based legal aid program assists low-income clients with various issues, from defending evictions to assisting with benefits. Kaylee then joined VBK, where she expanded her criminal practice and started handling family cases.
Since 2023, Kaylee has been a member of the State of Maine Pardon Board, where she reviews applications and interviews people on behalf of the Governor seeking pardons for previous criminal convictions. Kaylee also serves on the Maine Committee on Judicial Conduct.
As a criminal lawyer in Maine, Kaylee has earned a reputation as the go-to attorney in the greater Bangor area. Kaylee has handled cases ranging from Disorderly Conduct to Murder. She takes both federal and state criminal cases.
As a family law attorney, she approaches each divorce, parental rights matter, and adoption case with a compassionate ability to quickly understand the often complicated and emotional dynamics to help guide clients to resolve their cases. She loves this work because helping families navigate the process quickly and efficiently to the new normal is important.
Kaylee grew up locally and feels it is important to practice in the community where she is from. Kaylee enjoys spending time with her family and the beauty of Maine outdoors when not in court.
